Ski and Snowboard instructor course in Argentina

Surely there is no better way to do summer than spending four or six awesome weeks training and edcuation as an ski or snowboard instructor in Argentina? With the Patagonian Lakes and Andes Mountains as the backdrop, you can’t imagine a more beautiful place to enjoy your instructor course.

This four or six week once-in-a-lifetime experience will deliver world class training and education. You will benefit from universally-recognised (Anwärter - level 1 & 2) Austrian qualifications and complete your Argentina ski instructor course in a truly amazing location.

Cerro Catedral with a skiable area of 120km is one of the largest ski centers in South America. The magnificent view of the Naheul Huapi lake dominates the backdrop from the 2100m summit. The average snowfall is 300cm per season, promoting incredible on and off-piste possibilities.


Welcome to the only Austrian instructor course in the Southern Hemisphere! Our Patagonia experience provides an unparalleled combination of on-hill coaching including on-piste, off-piste and powder combined with some awesome off-hill extras such as avalanche awareness, sports science and biomechanics. You will have the advantage of fabulous lakeside hotel accommodation based in the centre of the lively town where the best food, wines, bars and night life can be found. The Argentinian steaks are second to none, and the low-prices are great for those travelling on a budget. Some of the biggest names in clubbing are prevalent in Bariloche, offering some of the greatest aprés ski in the world. Most importantly, you will be taking part in the only Southern Hemisphere Austrian qualification course in the world!

This five star hotel looks over the beautiful lake and sits in its own private gardens, it even boasts a heated swimming pool. Bariloche’s town centre is located 5 mins to the east, a short walk, taxi or bus ride away.

The accommodation will be either a shared hotel room or bungalow and will be allocated to suit the course requirements by gender, age and course selection. Five days a week you will be able to enjoy an evening meal menu at the hotel as part of your course package, leaving you free to sample the restaurants in Bariloche on the other two nights each week. Breakfast will be served seven days a week so no need to worry about cooking and washing up.


Training and education As the training is both physically and mentally demanding you should make sure you are fit and ready to gain the maximum from the course. You will get some information on how to prepare your mind and body for the task ahead on the Facebook Private Group. During the instructor education we will be improving your own ability, introducing you to the methodical progression of teaching and be preparing you for the upcoming exam and job related topics.

You will be getting up early most days and will be on the slopes from 09.00 am, skiing 4 to 5 hours per day. To make life easy you will have a private transfer to and from the slopes on training days. You will also have theory and analysis sessions some evenings in the comfort of the hotel.

The course is split into two sections. First, a period of ski training and preparation followed by a 10 day intensive exam preparation and assessment period. Due to weather conditions we will adjust and react to how best to distribute the training element of your course. Don’t worry as you will have plenty of free time to ski for yourself and enjoy the surroundings and the famous night life of Bariloche.
