From March 13–16, 2025, the very first ESB SkiBiz took place in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis – a new business event set at over 1,400 meters above sea level, combining networking, winter sports, and forward-thinking insights. The successful debut proved one thing: great ideas thrive when people move and connect in the right environment.
Four Days of Alpine Inspiration
This new winter format builds on the proven concept of the ESB Unternehmerforum in Mallorca: high-quality content, casual networking, and shared activities – only this time, in the snow instead of on the beach. With Hotel Marent as the event base, Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis offered the ideal backdrop for inspiring conversations, summit moments, and fresh perspectives.
Meaningful Content: Leadership, Transformation & the Athlete Mindset
The program was as diverse as its participants. Through keynotes, workshops, and talks, the focus was on leadership, mental resilience, navigating change, and future trends in tourism.
Christiane Mitterwallner, sports psychologist and executive coach, shared success factors from top-level sports that can be applied to business leadership.
Philipp Radel, founder of Break Point and former Co-CEO of WWP, guided participants through a transformative workshop using breathwork and mindset shifts.
Arianna Tricomi, three-time Freeride World Champion, gave personal insights into decision-making, risk-taking, and why gut feeling can sometimes beat planning.
In the opening panel, Dr. Josef Schirgi (Tourism Director, Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis) and Andreas Steibl (Hotelier) discussed the future of winter sports tourism, addressing climate change, evolving guest expectations, and how alpine destinations can strengthen their brand identity.
Movement Meets Business
At the heart of ESB SkiBiz was the idea of networking through movement. Whether on the slopes, at the rustic “Weiberkessel” hut evening, during the lively kitchen party at Hotel Marent, or around the dinner table – the atmosphere was open, energizing, and built on mutual respect.
Martin Dolezal, Johann Reisenberger, and Lukas Joichl from the Snowsports Academy led the skiing sessions, guiding participants safely and expertly through the vast Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski area – even in snowfall and fog.

A Strong Debut – With More to Come
The first ESB SkiBiz was much more than just a winter networking event. It marked the launch of a unique new format that blends movement, conversation, and inspiration in a refreshing alpine setting.
